The Care Certificate Programme is delivered by the Cambridgeshire Academy for Reaching Excellence (CARE) which is part of Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC).

Throughout this document the terms ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Cambridgeshire County Council and the terms ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to the learner.

By undertaking learning and development activity, you are acknowledging that you have received authorisation from the relevant person at your organisation:

  • To attend/receive learning and development activity as stated
  • For the expenditure
  • Acceptance of these terms and conditions

We reserve the right to refuse or curtail any learning and development activity if you fail to satisfy the course pre-requisites or requirements. The Care Certificate Programme is associated with the learner and is not transferrable to any other person. Learners have 20 weeks to complete the programme, their account will be deactivated once complete. Learners can request a break in learning and pick up where they left off to allow for long-term sickness.

Payment and Charging Policy

Full payment must be made in advance at the point of booking via this form. If your company requires an invoice to be raised, your account will not be created until we have received payment via invoice which will delay your access to this offer.

Cancelling in advance

If you are unable to attend a course that you are booked onto, you will be able to cancel your own place via your account up to 3 days prior to the session. If you are cancelling less than 3 days before, please contact us via Learning& or 01480 373534 to cancel your place.

Non-attendance on the day

If you are unable to attend a face-to-face session on the day itself, please ensure that you or a member of your organisation contacts the Learning and Development via Learning& or 01480 373534 in advance where possible. You will not be issued a refund and will need to re-book paying the full cost via our sister site: CCC Our Development Site

Course start times

Face-to-face learning activities and webinars will start at the time advertised and you are required to be ready to start by that time. In the event you arrive after the advertised start time and allowing you to join the course would disrupt the learning of others on the course, we reserve the right to refuse admission if you are more than 15 minutes late. In all such cases, the course cost is non-refundable, and the learner will need to re-book via the CCC Our Development site paying full price.
